Tea, done with patience

Glass Sparrow's Nest was born from a simple conviction: the best moments in a day are the ones you don't rush. We opened our doors in Franklin to give people somewhere to arrive at themselves — a room full of light, the steady pour of hot water over real leaves, and the permission to simply be still.

Every blend we serve is chosen for its character. Every pastry is baked in-house, daily. We source from small producers who treat their craft with the same reverence we bring to ours. This isn't a place you stop through. It's a place you settle into.

Four reasons to stay a while

01

Slow by design

No timers on your table. No subtle pressure to turnover. We'd rather you stay an hour longer than you planned than leave feeling hurried.

02

Tea you can learn from

Our servers know every blend by name and origin. Ask about the difference between a first-flush darjeeling and an autumnal harvest — we love it.

03

Seasonal, always

Our menu shifts with the Tennessee calendar. Spring peonies in honey, winter spice chai, summer iced oolong — the year turns, and so do we.

04

A room for yourself

Whether you're meeting a friend or meeting yourself, there's a corner here that fits. Natural light, soft seating, and the gentle clink of porcelain.
